As we had recorded some video of the robotic proyect we have decided to paste all of them together and edit it to have a memory of our team work. this blog belongs to Monica,Paula and Begoña

DAY 5
Today, it´s thursday so that means that it is our last day of the proyect. we have started the day by finishing the model of the robot for the battle. When we,ve finished it, we went to the gym and started programming it for the battle, by taking the ambient light of the black line of the circle. Then, we have started the battle and we controlled the robots with the phones. as we didn´t had enough time we went on the ¨programming¨battle. We went straight to the final and there we lost because our robot was programmed with low potence so we couldn´t go against the other robot because the low potence, but we´ve enjoyed the proyect and we have learn things that we couldn´t learn other ways. We had a lot of fun working in the groups and we have learned a lot of things of the robotic world. Also we had met people that on the daily basics we won´t talk to because we didn´t knew as well as we do now.

                                                                                    DAY 4

This is the programming tool we have used to programm the robots

Today, it was the fourth day in our robotic proyect. we started in working in the computer, because we had to do an scracht proyect with something that it is tipical of us. Then , we returned again to the laboratory, where we ended working with th sensors.The sensors we worked today with where the touch and sound sensors. When we ended the challenges we started working in the model of our robots for the sumo war that will take place tomorrow. We decided that our robot should defend, because we are fighting again a group of boys that are going to fight and to another group that we think that thay are going to fight too, so we´ve decided to defend our robot and then in the end we have made an strategy to atach with the help of a kind of arm, which is form of sticks and a kind of round thing with some staight ends. also, we have aded a wall in the front and in the back to protect our robot of getting injured. we had problems making it because we didn´t know how to make it and where we should start with, but finally we had finished it. in the afternoon we went to the place where the computers are and we kept working on the scratch. we are so excited for tomorrow, because everything we´ve learn in the proyect will be shown in the sumo war, and also because we are fighting against the boys, the ones who have a lot more experience than us because the usually play to the XBOX, and we don´t play. but we are going to do our best, because the importantthing it is to learn, participate and to have fun.

                                                    DAY 3

this is the robot with the sensors

Today it was our third day of our proyect. This time we´ve started doing the robot since 8am. The first thing we started doing was finishing yesterdays model adn make a challenge. Then, we started learning about sensors. The first sensor was the light sensor, whisch was able to distinguise the black from the white, so we made the challengevto make our robot go forward and then stop in the black line. The next sensor was the distance sensor, which was able to stop when he felt the presence of an object at a measured distance.  Then we started to combine the two sensors, so the robot was able to move in a circle without going out of it. Today we experimented with two sensors, but we think that tomorrow we will mix all of the sensors, so the robot it´s more completed.

 DAY TWO           

Today was the second day of our five days long proyect. First we started to upload the blog and started doing the scratch proyect. Then we went to the laboratory and we finished programming the race and we recorded the times of each groups teams robot. The one that the picture shows it is the INVICTUS 7000, OUR ROBOT. We didn´t know which one won, but the important thing it´s to participate and learn. Then we had to undo the robot to make a new model that is able to incorporate another motor, which we used to play a bowling competition.

DAY ONE

Division of the lego pieces

Today, we have started our robotic proyect by making the groups, we  decided  a name for our robot : INVICTUS 7000 and then we started  making  the robot with lego pieces which are shown in the picture on the side.  It tooks us time because some pieces were similar and we missunderstooded the instructions.  When the robot was done ,we were challenged to make some kind of movements. First, our robot was progammed to go forward and backwards, then we have to make the shape of a ¨s¨, going forward and backwards.  Later, the robot had to do the shape of a sand clock. Finally we made a robot race in two ways: In the first one we controled the robots with our phones and later we had to programmed it with the form of the circuit. As it was the first day and the schedule was from 8 am to 1 pm we didn´t do a lot of different things. The thing we enjoyed most was making the robot because it was entretaining to build it with different kind of lego pieces.
